Hello Everyone,

It is that time of year again and we will be starting our annual Christmas food drive at the end of November.  This year we will also be trying something new, which I am very excited about. Along with our food drive, we will also be having a toy drive 

Some families are unable to have a Christmas because they cannot afford it. Mothers and fathers are unable to put presents under the tree for their children to wake up too. Every child wants to wake up Christmas morning and at least have one present to open from Santa.

Our goal this year is to help more families be able to have a Merry Christmas and give those children that one present to open Christmas morning. 
Through a program called Christmas Baskets, we are able to collect toys for girls and boys ages 14 and under that parents are able to pick gifts for their children. In Brant County, all the gifts are in a room set up like a store. The mothers and fathers are able to go in, look at all the different toys donated, and pick the gifts they would like their children to open on Christmas morning. 

The gifts can be as simple as a package of socks, a video game, or makeup for a young lady. Although a small gift, it gives the recipients something to look forward to on Christmas.

New, old or used, all gifts are greatly appreciated!
Food and clothing can be dropped off at the Flying Club anytime before December 19th, 2011.
