Recreational Flying Report - June

June 10th: Destination CNV8 Edenvale.
Weather conditions for this fly out were excellent with skies clear (SKC) and 15 miles visibility (15 SM), however the attendance was not. Approx. 9 people were available for the fly out but only two proceeded to this destination. Other BFC members chose to fly to the Wing & Wheels event in Owen Sound, Putin Bay near Pelee Island or other destinations. Total distance covered by the two pilots in the rental plane was 176 NM.

Of note regarding Edenvale, after arriving we found the restaurant temporarily closed due to the tenants not meeting certain concerns in a timely manner so the landlord has locked the premises until these concerns have been addressed. As a consequence we diverted to CNY3 Collingwood, a short distance away, for brunch before returning home.
