Ground School - Brantford

A critical part of “learning to fly” is receiving the proper ground school instruction. The Brantford Flying Club maintains “state of the art” teaching facilities that exceed all of Transport Canada’s requirements for training pilots.

Our ground school classes are conducted by qualified instructors making use of PowerPoint, Audio Visual aids and flight simulators.

There are two Private Ground School sessions each year, each running on Monday nights from 7pm till 10pm. Average class size is 15 - 30 students.

The course runs for 20 weeks and covers the topics required to write the Transport Canada Private Pilot written examination

There is one Commercial Ground School course run per year, taking place on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7pm till 10pm.

The course runs for 40 weeks and covers the topics required to write the Transport Canada Commercial Pilot written examination

There is one UAV Ground School run per year, taking place on Wednesday nights from 7pm till 10pm.

Should the need arise, we may run additional nights for additional students, or may even run a class in Hamilton.
